Gang Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Gang handles information when you use the app or communicate with us. It should be read together with the User Agreement.

1. Information We Handle

Depending on how you use Gang, information handled may include account and contact details; profile information; content, media, and communications you choose to provide; preferences and interactions; purchase and transaction status; support, safety, and moderation information; and device or diagnostic information made available through authorized services.

Apple processes payment information. Gang does not receive your full payment-card details.

2. Sources of Information

Information may be received directly from you, through your use of Gang, from device features you authorize, from Apple or service providers, and from other people when they interact with you or submit content or reports involving you.

3. Purposes

Information is used to provide and maintain the service, manage accounts and content, administer purchases, support safety and integrity, respond to requests, protect users and legal rights, prevent abuse or security incidents, and comply with applicable obligations.

4. Permissions and Choices

Gang may request access to device features when relevant to an action you choose. You may deny or withdraw optional permissions through device settings, although related features may then be unavailable. You may also manage available account, profile, content, communication, and safety choices.

5. Content Shared with Others

Information and content you choose to share may be viewed, saved, or reshared by recipients. Review your choices before sharing and avoid submitting information you do not want others to receive.

6. Disclosure and Protection

Gang does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. Information may be disclosed to other users according to your choices, to Apple for app distribution or purchase processing, to service providers acting on our behalf, to recipients you direct, in connection with a lawful organizational change, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights and safety.

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect information. Service providers processing personal information on our behalf are expected to provide protection consistent with this policy and applicable requirements. Third parties may also handle information independently under their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Apple Purchases

Apple processes In-App Purchases under its own terms and privacy practices. Gang receives limited purchase information, such as the selected product and transaction status, to provide purchased virtual items and prevent duplicate fulfillment.

8. Retention and Deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. You may delete your account using the available account controls. Some transaction, safety, dispute, or legal records may be retained when required or permitted by applicable obligations. Apple's retention of purchase records is governed by Apple's policies.

9. Privacy Rights and Requests

You may review or update available profile information, manage content and communications, use safety controls, withdraw optional device permissions, and delete your account. Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, deletion, a copy, restriction, or objection concerning personal information.

To submit a privacy request, contact support@gang.com. We may need to verify the request before acting. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

10. International Processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for cross-border transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when legal requirements or data practices change. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice, and applicable privacy disclosures will be updated when required.
